Like I said, CA is a day's drive away, and I hear their financial system is all sorts of robust. Or bankrupt. Which is it again?


TX has all sorts of policy problems, no doubt, but 'dark ages of women's health'? Come on. And the main factor bringing down TX public schools is the issue with the border and a massive number of Latino students who are not being successfully absorbed, or tested. Its very hard for a school system to teach in a second language, and when bilingual teaching is used, then those kids are screwed when their achievement is tested.

Lots of policy problems, no doubt, but rathole? Go live somewhere else, its that simple.
